CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Slow Strengthen & Stretch All-Levels Yoga is a traditional hatha yoga class for all levels from beginner to experienced, with an emphasis on the breath, ease of movement, strength and softness, and alignment. Modifications, individual guidance, and space allowed for inquiry are always provided, and a judgement-free atmosphere is fostered. Class will be balanced between invigorating/strengthening poses and restorative postures, generally include a short, guided breath awareness meditation, and will begin and end with a guided relaxation (savasana).
Yoga in Focus workshops are one-off, 75-minute classes designed to to help you learn more in depth about essential yoga skills. Appropriate for all levels, these classes will put special emphasis on practicing yoga poses, stretches, or breathing techniques for various aspects of your practice such as backbends, meditation, inversions, pranayama (breathing techniques), and more. Topics vary from season to season, with the intention of bringing balancing, supportive practices into your life and enriching your yoga practice. These classes also includes extra time built in for tea, questions/discussion, and time to connect with your classmates.
